Information you choose to provide

You can use the current app, configure anchors, purchase a membership, and restore an eligible purchase without creating a Moored account or providing your name or email address. If you contact us, we receive your message and contact details so we can reply.

Device practices and preferences

Practice history, streaks, reminder preferences, selected boats, sound settings, and similar product preferences are primarily stored on your device. Removing the app or clearing its data may remove this information unless Apple restores it from a backup.

Screen Time and Family Controls

App and website shielding requires permission through Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls frameworks. Apple represents your selections with opaque tokens that Moored uses to apply the boundaries you request. Moored does not read messages, feeds, browsing content, or activity inside selected apps and websites. App-selection names and tokens are not sent to analytics, attribution, or advertising services.

Alarms, notifications, and background activity

If you enable Morning Anchor, reminders, Focus Live Activities, or background sound, Moored uses the related Apple system services. Schedule and preference information is used to deliver the feature you configured. You can change permissions in iPhone Settings and remove schedules in Moored.

Purchases and membership

Apple processes App Store payments and does not give Moored your full payment-card details. RevenueCat helps Moored validate and manage subscription status and may process a pseudonymous app user identifier, product and offer information, transaction identifiers, purchase dates, renewal status, and refund or cancellation events. Apple's and RevenueCat's privacy policies govern their processing.

Product analytics and experiments

Moored uses limited event-based analytics to understand setup completion, feature use, reliability, subscription conversion, and retention. Events use a pseudonymous installation identifier and may include app and iOS versions, timestamps, coarse campaign information, experiment assignment, and safe settings such as a selected duration or the number of Screen Time selections.

Supabase receives and validates first-party events and maintains operational records. PostHog helps analyze product funnels, experiments, and retention. These events do not include breath content, selected-app tokens, notification content, purchase receipts, names, or email addresses.

Campaign and creator attribution

AppsFlyer helps measure whether an install or subscription came from an advertisement, campaign, or creator link, including OneLink deferred-link and Apple SKAN attribution. Depending on Apple's privacy settings and the campaign, attribution data may include an AppsFlyer or vendor identifier, a pseudonymous Moored installation identifier, campaign and creative identifiers, referral link information, device and app information, network information such as IP address, and privacy-preserving attribution results from Apple. Moored will request Apple's tracking permission before collecting an advertising identifier or sharing its pseudonymous installation identifier for user-level advertising measurement. If permission is not granted, Moored limits AppsFlyer measurement to aggregate and privacy-preserving attribution and does not send that identifier through RevenueCat's AppsFlyer integration.

If you use a creator link, Moored may retain the creator slug, referral timestamp, attribution status, and qualifying subscription events to calculate commissions. Creators may receive aggregate performance and commission statements, but not your identity, Screen Time selections, or practice content.

Website, hosting, and creative assets

Cloudflare hosts moored.life, serves approved public marketing images, and protects website and edge services. Cloudflare may process request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp, and security signals. Approved public campaign images may be stored in Cloudflare R2. Moored does not currently offer public user image uploads.

Some Explore links are affiliate links. A partner may know that you arrived from Moored and may compensate Moored after a qualifying action. The partner's privacy policy governs its website and services.

How service providers use information

Supabase, PostHog, RevenueCat, AppsFlyer, and Cloudflare process information for Moored under their service terms and privacy commitments. Moored does not sell personal information for money or use Screen Time selections to build advertising profiles. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or to vendors acting for us under appropriate restrictions.

Retention, security, and your choices

Local information remains until you delete it, reset progress, or remove the app, subject to Apple backups. Service records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for analytics, attribution, commissions, subscription support, security, legal obligations, and legitimate business records. Moored uses access controls, scoped service credentials, validation, and audit logs, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

You can use iPhone privacy settings to limit permissions and can contact us to ask what service data we hold about your installation or to request deletion. We may need a pseudonymous installation or transaction identifier to locate a record.

Children and changes

Moored is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the product, providers, or law changes. The effective date above will change when we do. We will communicate a material change through the app or site when practical.
